Enjoyed some single note songs.

Recently I took the Paddy Richter harps out of the desk drawer and enjoyed playing some old favorites just one note at a time. Songs like Danny Boy and O Shenandoah and some old hymns. Songs that sound better without the tongue blocked chording. This is how I learned to play over 20 years ago, but after learning the tongue blocking and rhythm style, I seem to have quit playing the simpler one note at a time style. Not intentionally, it just happened. Anyway, I decided I need to keep those harps out of the desk drawer and enjoy playing some simple, yet pretty, tunes once in a while. My granddaughter liked the plain, unaccompanied, tunes also.
