Buddy is an excellent player who usually plays diatonics in second position. Often Country tuning. He is know mostly for Christian music and for his association with the Gaithers. Here is a list of his albums that I have, obtained from various online music sellers and some from Buddy himself.
Harmonica Anthology
Wonderful collection of old time and folk music. I highly recommend it.
Simple Praise
Praise Harmonica
These two instrumental albums are Gospel music. Playing is precise with accurate bends. Accompaniment is not overdone yet beautiful and professional. Some chromatic playing. These are older and harder to find. One of these I bought as a download and burned my own CD.
Someday
Gospel music. Buddy sings and plays guitar with some exceptional musicians. Plenty of great harmonica playing but the harmonica is not the focus.
Hymns and Prayer Songs
This album is similar to Someday but the songs are often well known old favorites.
Pilgrimage
A double CD compilation album. My least favorite, but not bad. I think some of these songs were influenced by the Christian pop music that was popular during the time.
The Best of Buddy Greene
This is a DVD of Buddy's appearances on the Gaithers Homecoming shows. (Got my copy from Buddy after a concert. Autographed! He is a really friendly fellow.)
He has other albums I don't have. Rufus is an album of older folk tunes.
