Ok folks how about for December each of us post our 2 most favorite Christmas songs. That doesn't mean that you are restricted to posting only 2 Christmas songs, post as many as you want, but be sure to idendify your 2 favorites.
It may turn out that all of us have the same 2 favorites and if that is the case we will see how each plays the songs.

The first two. They are fun to play. That last one requires a bit of focus. The reverb comes from a Digitech RP loaded with Huntersounds patches from Richard Hunter. I have 50 patches in the Digitech to choose from. It was worth buying patches from Richard because it saved me many hours of learning on my own. (Patches are like software presets that can be loaded through USB.) However, I now prefer an amp that has nice reverb and delay built in. The RP is an extra piece of gear to haul, connect, power, manipulate, and keep an eye on so it never leaves my house anymore. But I'll keep it because it sounds great and maybe one day I'll start using it.

These are fantastic. I especially like the drone on "the Coventry Carrol" and the harmony on the second verse of "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear. Also, I second how good the reverb sounds on "Oh Holy Night." It's a perfect touch for that song." After listening to these, I'm definitely in the Christmass spirit and am going downstairs to play some carrols now!

Scott, those sound nice. I have a natural minor which I never use, but I have never played a harmonic minor.

Marcy, the reverbs and delays are very good on the Digitech. Not as good as your empty house, but a lot more portable and less expensive.

The harmonica minor is good for a few Christmas songs like Pat-a-Pan or Fum-Fum-Fum.

I enjoyed your reverb, Rex. O Holy Night has always been a favorite, but can't really be played alone.

Here is another one I like, The Gooding Carol.
