Sebastian is correct. The song is in F. I start on the draw F chord that is on the Bb harp.

On a C harp there is a C chord on blow and a G chord on draw. On a G harp there is a G chord on blow and a D chord on draw. Three chords, G, C, and D. Not counting minor chords here. There is a G chord on both the G harp and C harp. When using two harps I will often use whichever G chord allows for easier harp switching, assuming it also allows for following the melody. This works for other harp pairs that are a 5th apart. A and D for example. The D harp has an A chord on the draw.

I also use the "extra" chord in this video and explain where it is. Warning, I wasn't going to post this until later next month because it is one of the songs for July. I was experimenting with Carter family songs last week to come up with some that would fit on the harmonica. If you want to work on you own arrangement first you may want to skip this now. Anyway, here is Give Me The Roses in G. The G chord is used on both harps (but this time it doesn't start on the draw chord).

There is another "bonus" chord that I sometimes use. On a G harp draw 5 and 6 are C and E. CEG makes a C chord. CE makes a nice substitute for a C chord, or a partial C. So if you are using a C and G harp and are on the G harp and need a C chord to go with an E note, or just as a passing chord by itself, you can get it on the G harp with no switch. This same draw 56 on a C harp is FA, part of an F chord (FAC).
Sometimes octaves will work also. On the G harp the draw chord is a D. On the C harp draw 1 and 4 are both D. If you block the middle notes you can imitate a D chord. Some of this comes down to experimenting with chords and just listening to the result. Abandon what sounds bad, keep what sounds good. I think a lot of the old time players like Sarge already take advantage of the "extra" and partial chords by ear. Over time they have learned what sounds nice when it is allowed to ring out and what sounds sour if you hold onto it. The sour combinations often become broken up by the player into quick "blips" of rhythm without really thinking about it. I do this sometimes instead of switching harps and breaking the rhythm.

That is possible. However, I won't bother. I have a single side Echo with an unsealed comb that I've played for 4 years without problems.
1 I warm the harp in my pocket to lessen condensation.
2 My harps sit out an hour after playing to air out any moisture before they go into the box or case. If I'm playing a gig (rare these days) they go home in a plastic container or my jacket pockets and then air out.
3 I play a lot of different harps so I'm not playing one harp continuously.
4 I'm not a very wet player. Just enough to slide.
5 Brush my teeth before playing wood combs. Sometimes a little careless with plastic and screw construction because they are easy to clean.
6 If it isn't broken I don't fix it. Always a chance of making a nice harp not so nice.
