I am not in an audio friendly environment at the moment, but I look forward to hearing it in the morning, Chuck! It's funny how we can practice a tune bad 😂 I often notice that when I practice the same tune over and over in one sitting, it eventually starts sounding very dull! I often record myself, so I know this for a fact! But I choose to believe that over time, months and years we are slowly getting better. Maybe too much practice takes the passion out of the tune?

That was nice Chuck! Your phrasing is very good, I get a real good feeling of how the melody is played. Together with the tabs and text it's cool to see it as well. I realise I might have been playing the Bpart slightly wrong now.

whiskat, I rely on tabs, I can't read music and as many times as I have played Cripple Creek. I couldn't play it without my tab sheet.
I figured there are plenty of us on the forum that rely on tabs or sheet music. So I thought (if posting the tabs would help anyone else - do it)
It's funny I can play a song and think - not too bad. Then I record it and play it back and it's sounds awful to me, kind of like listening to my own voice when played back.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post songs here. It lets me hear different techniques. I have learned so much on this sight and am having a ball!!!!

Me too, Keith. Sometimes I get to the last few notes and go wrong. Being about my third attempt I just say what the heck its close enough. Of course that’s a bad attitude we should always try for perfection even if it’s unattainable.
I’ll miss Cripple Creek as I’ve just returned from a few weeks holiday without computers and harmonicas. I did record it in the other forum but that was too bad to repeat here.
