Advice on my next tremolo

I don't play my Asian tuned tremolos all the time, but don't have too much trouble after a bit of practicing on it, except the third octave, I really have to think about it, but if you were to play it regularly, I don't think it would bother you.

(Beads is the man to ask any tremolo questions, it's his main type.)

LOL Beads and Rex are the same person, different harmonica forums. The Richter and Asian harps are the same in the middle and high octaves. In the low octave the blow notes are also the same. The only difference is the draw notes in the low octave. The Asian harp provides the same scale as the middle octave. The Richter provides a V (Roman numeral 5) chord on the draw. They are easy to switch between because you normally do not play melody on the low end of the Richter. Sort of like the difference between 10 hole Richter and 10 hole Paddy Richter harps. The Paddy gives you a missing note but you loose the low I chord.

I have or had one tremolo. It was a Hohner Trail Rider Harp. I made a video of it for the Harmonica Club forum and haven't seen it since. I've looked everywhere and can't find it. It's that kind of crap that happens when you get old. It will turn up someday; maybe in the freezer or under the mattress. It's hard telling where I put it.

If I had a couch with cushions I would. It's an absolute mystery!!

Does not seem like such a big fuss. Turns out there is a sale on B, Bb and Ab tremolos from Kongsheng on Aliexpress. I ordered one in B. I will let you know what I sounds like.

I guess so too. I recently got a Kongsheng Mars and it is my new favorite harmonica. It plays so well and I really enjoy the round holes and the slick body.

One of the things I am really impressed by with Kongsheng is their ability to create new and exciting designs. Of course they have to sound good, but I also think visual appeal matters. At least when you are suffering from as much H.A.S as I am these days 🤣

You know, that old indian woman may have hid that so she wouldn't have to hear me play it! I'm gonna have to question her about that!
